Safer Together© primary school programme
Safer Together© is a primary school programme dedicated to teaching children in Years 3 and 4 the skills of protective behaviours. Our resources and lesson plans are designed to empower children with the 'right to feel safe all of the time', as well as teaching them strategies to use in order to enable them to take action. The programme can be delivered directly to schools, or a 'train the trainer' approach can be used to enable schools to provide the lessons themselves. Foundation level Protective Behaviours
Our Foundation level Protective Behaviours course is a two day course or the equivalent. It offers an invaluable life skill to support and empower individuals to take action when they don't feel safe and also support others to do the same. The course provides an understanding of the Protective Behaviours processes and the Right to Feel Safe, delivered in an interactive and engaging way.

Protective Behaviours Principles & Strategies
This one day (or equivalent) Principles & Strategies course.
This course has been designed to provide the underpinning Protective Behaviours knowledge and understanding of the five key elements of the Process. It highlights the fundamental ideas and PB Principles that create the framework and introduces the main Strategies for putting the Process into Practice. The course explores the effect of trauma on a person and demonstrates how Protective Behaviours can support change.
This course can be completed as a stand-alone course/unit or alongside the Protective Behaviours into Practice course to achieve the full Foundation level. You can also attend the PB into Practice at a later date to suit your needs.

Protective Behaviours into Practice.
This course has been designed to provide the practical approaches and application of the underpinning Protective Behaviours Principles and Strategies. It highlights key approaches of how individuals can apply the PB elements to support their right to feel safe. The course explores the use of protective behaviours for solution-focused approaches and in supporting individuals' well-being. It demonstrates how Protective Behaviours can support change.
This course can be completed as a stand-alone course/unit or alongside the Protective Behaviours into Practice course to achieve the full Foundation level. However, you will need to have attended the Principles and Strategies unit before completing this course.

Workshops
Protective Behaviours Workshops offer short themed topics to explore the concepts of protective behaviours. Our workshops will enhance working practice and approaches to direct work with families, children and young people. Our experienced trainers will provide tailored sessions designed to ensure the best outcomes for your organisation. The workshops are at a range of levels to suit those who are just beginning their Protective Behaviours journey and those who have completed training but would like to explore and develop their practice. Emotionally-based School Avoidance.
Our Emotionally-based School Avoidance program provides young people with emotional, mental health, or well-being issues the knowledge and skills to build resilience and improve their mental health and well-being. This program is delivered directly into schools with groups of young people facing these challenges. With our program, students can confidently reach their full potential and overcome emotionally-based school avoidance.
